Acapella Extractor lets you upload an audio file and hear its parts separately. The tool uses the open-source Demucs four-source model to estimate vocals, drums, bass and other sounds. It also combines those parts into an instrumental mix and a drumless mix. These are estimates made from a finished recording; they are not the original studio multitracks.
The tool is free and requires no account. You can process up to three files per day, subject to processing capacity. A file may be up to 50 MB and 10 minutes long. The result is a set of 320 kbps MP3 files you can preview and download. We do not offer a paid tier or promise that every recording will separate cleanly.
Audio is uploaded for processing and kept in private temporary storage. Access expires after one day, followed by storage deletion. The privacy page explains the job records and retention periods.
